Our business was started in 2003 by Rusty Thornhill, my dad, and we have grown into a multi-generational family business. As a guitar player, Dad couldn’t find any finger picks he liked, picks that were comfortable, that stayed on and had great tone; so he decided to design his own. He wasn’t an engineer or a designer, he was a musician who knew what he wanted and was willing to think outside the box to get it.
When he designed these picks, he decided to fix all the problems inherent to finger and thumb picks. After several months and many prototypes, he was satisfied; he had created his dream picks! Their tone has been referred to as “the best out there” by pros like Michael Stockton, A.J. Ghent, Chuck Campbell and many, many amazing musicians that walk among the “average Joes” the world over - yet they feel like therapy for your fingers and don’t come off until you take them off.

When Dad passed away in 2015, he left the business to the next generation. At this point, we have second, third and even fourth generations proudly hand crafting the picks that he designed. Now with a couple of years under our belts, we are making our own “outside the box” tweaks. The first major change was going from .020 to .025 for the finger picks and thumb pick wraps. Our fans requested it, and we listened.
